Airsoft Custom Events organises a 4-day skirm from 17 until 20th July in France in and around the Fortress of Laon. We are the biggest ans most professional organization in Belgium and this year we will do it in France for a change!
The fortress was built by the French against the Germans if they would ever invade France through Belgium. But the fortress was never finished as it was not strong enough for the new german canons and it would cost too much to make all the changes. At the end of the 1800 there were not less than 200 soldiers, horses and canons in the fortress. This beautifully restaurated fortress which was made play-ready will be the scene of heavy airsoftfights from Friday night until mondaymorning. The fortress is located on more than 6Ha and the surroundings are more than 5Ha. Everything will be used for various airsoftmissions, not your usual capture the flag, but heavy fights with medics, artillery, airattacks and special terrain rules!
PLANNING:
Friday July 17:
Arrival on site between 14.00 and 20.00Hrs. Making the safezone and sleeppingplace ready and afterwards you can have a walk on the terrain and it’s surroundings until 20.00Hrs if you are on time. At 21.30Hrs we will start with a nightmission.
Saturday July 18:
A whole day playing airsoft, interrupted just for the meal at noon and in the evening. Nightmissions after the eveningmeal.
Sunday July 19:
Again a whole day playing airsoft, interupted for the meals and at night we will have a campfire. Those who would like can leave sundayevening for home.
Monday July 20:
After breakfast we will have another short game and then everybody will have to pack to go home. The terrain has to be left by noon.
RULES:
Priority will be given for whole weekend subscriptions.
Other inscriptions (1day etc) will be cleared once we know if there is enough place left over.
Game rules will be explained on site in Dutch and English.
As a recognised airsoftorganiser we enforce the playrules of the Belgian Airsoft Alliance: max. 360 FPS for all airsoftreplicas and max. 500 FPS for all sniperreplicas.
Only the following bb’s are tolerated on this event: BIOSTAR or ECOBIO from HIDD.
We are offering BIOSTAR bb’s for the price of 15€ for a bottle (3.000bb’s) or 14€ per bottle when you purchase a box of 20 bottles (60.000bb’s). Same price for the 0.20 or 0.25gr. This is cheaper than in the stores!!!
Only pyrotechnics from ENOLA GAYE are allowed. Again, we will offer them for the price of 5€ (regular retail price in stores: 5,5€ - 7,5€) for the grenades or the blue or red smokes.
Cheaters, wankers and not openminded people: please stay at home as we will have a terrific 4 days with a lot of hi tech missions, medic rules, artillery etc... So if you don't want to play with some really cool rules and ideas, please stay at home.
There will be a generator, but we recommend to take your own precautions for reloading your batteries etc.
FOOD, DRINKS & SLEEPING:
With the price to pay, you get the following:
Breakfast, lunch and supper on saterday July 18.
Breakfast, lunch and supper on Sunday July 19.
Breakfast on monday July 20.
All other meals (fridaynight/lunch on monday) you have to provide yourself.
Sleepinplace is “inside” the fortress; so only a fieldbed and a sleeping bag are needed. You can bring a tent, but then you will have to sleep on the grass at the parking next to the cars.
Need more luxury? No problem! There are various hotels in the nearby with prices starting at 38€ for a room.
TEAMS:
THE ARMY:
Dresscode is everything which has a camouflagepattern! Colours, form or country of origin is not important, if it has more than 1 colour and there’s a pattern in it, you will be in this team!
THE CARTEL:
Dresscode is everything that does not have a camouflage pattern in it! So urban clothing (jeans etc), home made terrorist outfits, full military style without camouflagepattern (= unicolor, everything in the same color, we mean like kaki green or so) , police, swat etc... (they have been bribed huh!)
We just don’t want to use colored strips for teamrecognization. It only works if everybody helps for this end makes a little effort! If you don’t know for sure if your outfit is ARMY or CARTEL, just send us an email at 4days@airsoftcustomevents.be but be sure to put pictures (!!!) in the mail, so we can say quickly and for sure in what team you will be for that. If you are fortunate enough, please provide one of both, so that we can at the last possible moment change some people from team if needed, as maybe again some (lame) people will subscribe and not show...

At the intersection with the D652 and the Chemin militaire du fort you will need to follow the small sandpath to the top where you will be arrived at the fortress. If you don’t see a marshall (somebody in red) just come inside on foot and seek one so he can tell you where to go and what to do. You will be able to drive with your car inside the fortress to unload and place everything in the safety zone, and then exit the fortress again to go and park your vehicle on the grassparking. At any time you can freely acces your car during this weekend!

Due to exceptional circumstances it is possible that the Mayor of Mons-en-Laonnois will deny us acces to the terrain, example: if the small sandpatch is in a too bad shape. This has been the problem 2 years ago, but since it will be in the middle of July, we don’t expend heavy storms or rainfall, so it shouldn’t be a problem…
The medieval city of Laon is only a very short drive from the fortress and certainly worth a visit if you are on time fridaynoon or Monday after the weekendskirm. There are many German Soldierscementary’s from the first world war in the near to visit, all well maintained.
